About Franzman Insurance
In April of 1983, Pete Franzman started selling life insurance from his home. Two years later in 1985, Franzman Insurance Agency officially formed and started an office in the Jefferson Building, downtown Tell City, Indiana. In 1989, Franzman Insurance Agency expanded by purchasing an agency in Ferdinand, Indiana. In search of larger space, Franzman Agency moved to the Swiss Mall only to move a short time later. They moved to a more visible and yet larger space for their expanding business on Tell Street in Tell City. Franzman Agency remained at this location until 2000 when they moved to their current location at 723 Main Street, Tell City. Today, Franzman Insurance Agency is a full service Independent Insurance Agency, with two principals, Pete Franzman, President, and Pam Franzman along with agents, Brad Franzman, Lisa Bryant, and Leah Ball specializing in commercial lines. Personal lines specialists are Kelly Kiplinger and Dana Franzman. All employees are licensed agents accumulating over 100 years of combined service and knowledge. They are licensed to sell insurance in Indiana and Kentucky.
As an Independent Insurance Agency, our agents and staff are able to personalize policies to meet the needs of our customers. We represent not one but several companies. In doing so, we are able to pick and choose what companies can and will offer the specific needs of each and every customer. Our ultimate goal is to offer outstanding insurance options to meet the demands of our customers with affordability always in the forefront.
Once the relationship between the customer and our agency is formed, our job is not done. We, at Franzman Insurance Agency, work diligently to provide the best possible service our industry has to offer. We service what we sell! In the event of a claim, we work hard to make sure all parties are satisfied with the handling and settlement of their claim.
Franzman Insurance Agency has become a vital part of the Tell City and Ferdinand communities. Employees contribute and participate in many civic organizations and work diligently to maintain a positive force in the community.
